Hongik has acquired a plot of over 300,000 square meters in Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province, located approximately 40km south of Seoul. A hydraulics and river flow testing facility was constructed, and in cooperation with local governments, we plan to set up a "Techno-Art Campus" by the year 2009. This new campus will offer diverse programs in art, design, multimedia, and computer graphics aimed at promoting and fostering activities of professional artists/designers, as well as offering continuing education to the general public.
