The University Press was established in 1974 in order to raise academic standards of Hongik University by publishing and distributing textbooks, research papers and school pamphlets. After joining the Korean University Press Association in 1982, it has published numerous books in various academic fields, and has also been making a great effort to encourage the publication by the university faculty and dissemination of the research results.
