The Information and Computing Institute, located in a 13-story building with a total floor space of 19,498 square meters, is a support organization dedicated to delivering high quality, cost effective network and computing services to students, faculty, and staff for administration. Within the services are: managing and troubleshooting campus network systems, developing applications for supporting administrative tasks, managing computer labs with PCs and various software, providing high speed wired and wireless Internet access for education and research, building and maintaining numerous servers for delivering Web, file transfer, and e-mail services, and providing consultation on information technology at a university level. As the essential infrastructure for providing those services, the university backbone network reaches the entire campus and is working 24/7 basis to serve the university community.
