The School of Economics focuses on providing a logical framework to help students solve general economic problems that have been presented to them. In classes, therefore, the economic analysis of the given problem, correct judgement, the choice between alternative policy instruments, and the conflict of interests between individuals are treated in order to explain economic phenomena and to forecast their future development. Economic tools such as theoretical frameworks and empirical techniques are provided in a coherent way. Students also acquire a comprehensive understanding of the Korean economy: its past development, current economic issues, and its future course.
Most graduates seek careers in the business world, while some continue to pursue more advanced study at graduate schools.
